We are a community based, non-profit, community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario. We are staffed by five lawyers and two support staff.
In addition to providing legal advice and representation we also:
- support the development of local community groups that advance the rights of low income and marginalized people in our community
- provide legal information in the various areas of law that we practice
The clinic is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected annually from and by our Clinic members.
If you would like to become a clinic member and/or are interested in joining our Board of Directors please contact us. Clinic membership entitles you to vote at our Annual General Meeting and to run for election to our Board of Directors. Individual and Associate membership is only $1.00 per year.
